I guess what they say is true; everything is bigger in Texas. Right after crossing the state line we stopped at the welcome center and we saw the biggest cricket. Seriously it was 4 inches long. It looked like a cartoon character. Well we spent the entire day driving from New Orleans into the heart of Texas. We camped at Palmetto State Park. It is pretty hot and humid here. We woke up at 6a.m. in order to get to Natural Bridge Caverns on time for the adventure tour, because we were still an hour from San Antonio we had to get up extra early.
